They provide us with services and goods we use, are a part of us having a thriving, vibrant and sustainable community, and provide employment so that more of us can work closer to home. When it comes to Council contracts I expect every dollar spent to deliver maximum value. I will be working to ensure Council sources locally wherever possible. Local businesses have a vested interest in their community, so they want to do a good job.
